Simply Plastic Free was created around a simple idea: the choices we make with our money can have an impact far beyond the products we buy.
As Simply Plastic Free grows, I want that impact to extend beyond reducing waste and encouraging sustainable and intentional living.
A percentage of income earned through Simply Plastic Free product sales and eligible affiliate commissions will be donated to Australian organisations working to strengthen communities, protect and restore our natural environment, and create better opportunities for people across the country.
Where the money will go
Simply Plastic Free will support Australian organisations and projects across three key areas.
Supporting Indigenous Communities
Australia’s First Nations communities have cared for Country for tens of thousands of years.
Simply Plastic Free will support organisations and community-led projects that contribute to opportunities, education, wellbeing, cultural connection, caring for Country and long-term community development.
Where possible, priority will be given to initiatives that are Indigenous-led and allow communities to determine where support is needed most.
Housing & Community Support
Having a safe and secure place to live can change the direction of someone’s life.
A portion of Simply Plastic Free’s giving will support Australian organisations working in areas such as homelessness, housing insecurity, emergency accommodation and programs that help people rebuild stability and independence.
The goal is not simply to provide temporary assistance, but to support organisations working towards long-term solutions that protect dignity, choice and opportunity.
Revegetation & Restoring Australian Landscapes
Australia has some of the most extraordinary landscapes and ecosystems in the world.
Simply Plastic Free will support revegetation, habitat restoration and environmental projects that help restore native vegetation, improve biodiversity, rehabilitate degraded land and create healthier ecosystems.
Where possible, support will favour Australian projects using appropriate native species and restoration practices designed for the local environment.
How Simply Plastic Free Gives
Simply Plastic Free will contribute a percentage of eligible product sales and affiliate income to Australian organisations and environmental projects.
This may include income generated through:
- Simply Plastic Free digital products and resources
- Affiliate partnerships and recommendations
- Selected campaigns or fundraising initiatives
- Future Simply Plastic Free products and services
The purpose is to create a giving model that can grow alongside the business.
The more Simply Plastic Free grows, the more we can contribute.
Transparency Matters
Giving back should be more than a statement on a website.
Simply Plastic Free is committed to being transparent about where contributions go.
Updates will be published showing the organisations or projects supported, the area of impact and the amount contributed.
This also means organisations may change over time.
Rather than supporting an organisation simply because it is well known, I want Simply Plastic Free to continually look for Australian initiatives where our contribution can create meaningful and responsible impact.

One purchase will not restore an ecosystem or solve housing insecurity.
But thousands of small actions, made consistently and collectively, can create meaningful change.

Have your say – recommend an Australian Organisation
Simply Plastic Free is always looking to learn about Australian organisations, community groups and restoration projects doing meaningful work.
If you know of an organisation that supports Indigenous communities, housing and homelessness initiatives, revegetation, biodiversity, habitat restoration or other closely aligned work, you’re welcome to share it with us.
Recommendations can come from anywhere in Australia, including smaller local organisations that may not receive the same visibility as larger charities.
When reviewing recommendations, Simply Plastic Free will consider factors such as transparency, community impact, how funds are used, and whether the organisation aligns with our values.
Submitting a recommendation does not guarantee funding or a donation, but every suggestion helps us discover organisations and projects we may not otherwise hear about.
